With the success of artists’ residences, in particular with the creation of unique works having integrated the collection of the museum, every year the MCDAV publishes a book of residence. They allow to leave a track of the passage of every artist. It is at the same time a testimony, a log book, a continuation of the works.
The temporary exhibitions are the object of an edition allowing to leave a track of the event and to open relative trails of reflection in theme(s) approached(s) within the framework of the commissionership.

Every year, the MCDAV proposes one or several temporary exhibition(s) in connection with its Scientific and Cultural Project, the comment of which integrates the presence of the glass into the southwest from the Languedoc of the antiquity in the XXth century and the international contemporary creation, in the domains of the plastic arts, the design and the art professions.
The MCDAV wishes to encourage the various component works of expertise and identification of the objects from its collection. In this optics, the museum plans to accompany the scientists in their coming completed researches of the collections and documents of the structure.
The Museum/Center of art glass plans to support the researchers in them works in association with the Region Midi-Pyrénées. This help is materialized by an Allocation of Doctoral Researches. The objective of this help is to support the valuation of the knowledge and the transfer of the know-how to the advantage of laboratories and regional companies by the training of the young doctors. It allows the students of Midi-Pyrénées to make a research work in universities, public institutions of research, public institutions with scientific and technological character (EPST) or public institutions with industrial and commercial character (EPCI).
