From forest glassworks to the Verrerie Ouvrière d’Albi, the exhibition traces how the Tarn department has been the scene of a continuous production of glass objects for 6 centuries, a tradition extended for 35 years by the Glass Museum and its glassblower workshop. From gentlemen glassmakers to artists of today, including the Solages dynasty and the struggling glassworkers supported by Jean Jaurès, relive the great moments in the history of glass in the Tarn. The opportunity to rediscover old objects and contemporary works from the collections of the Glass Museum.

From March 9 to April 19, 2023, it is in Carmaux at the Library that we offer a stopover: the exhibition is open from Tuesday to Saturday. Free admission.
